Surah Al-Ahqaf, Ayah 3 (46:3)

ٱلْأَحْقَاف

مَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ …

Quran 46:3 is ayah 3 of Surah Al-Ahqaf (“The Wind-Curved Sandhills”), a Meccan surah of 35 ayahs. It is in Juz 26, on page 502 of the Madani Mushaf.

46:3
مَاخَلَقْنَاٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَآإِلَّابِٱلْحَقِّوَأَجَلٍمُّسَمًّى ۚوَٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟عَمَّآأُنذِرُوا۟مُعْرِضُونَ٣
mā khalaqnā l-samāwāti wal-arḍa wamā baynahumā illā bil-ḥaqi wa-ajalin musamman wa-alladhīna kafarū ʿammā undhirū muʿ'riḍūna

We did not create the heavens and earth and what is between them except in truth and [for] a specified term. But those who disbelieve, from that of which they are warned, are turning away.(3)
