Surah Al-'Ankabut, Ayah 17 (29:17)

ٱلْعَنْكَبُوت

إِنَّمَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَوْثَٰنًا وَتَخْلُقُونَ إِفْكًا ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ تَعْبُدُونَ …

Quran 29:17 is ayah 17 of Surah Al-'Ankabut (“The Spider”), a Meccan surah of 69 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 398 of the Madani Mushaf.

29:17
إِنَّمَاتَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِأَوْثَٰنًاوَتَخْلُقُونَإِفْكًا ۚإِنَّٱلَّذِينَتَعْبُدُونَمِندُونِٱللَّهِلَايَمْلِكُونَلَكُمْرِزْقًافَٱبْتَغُوا۟عِندَٱللَّهِٱلرِّزْقَوَٱعْبُدُوهُوَٱشْكُرُوا۟لَهُۥٓ ۖإِلَيْهِتُرْجَعُونَ١٧
innamā taʿbudūna min dūni l-lahi awthānan watakhluqūna if'kan inna alladhīna taʿbudūna min dūni l-lahi lā yamlikūna lakum riz'qan fa-ib'taghū ʿinda l-lahi l-riz'qa wa-uʿ'budūhu wa-ush'kurū lahu ilayhi tur'jaʿūna

You only worship, besides Allāh, idols, and you produce a falsehood. Indeed, those you worship besides Allāh do not possess for you [the power of] provision. So seek from Allāh provision and worship Him and be grateful to Him. To Him you will be returned."(17)

  25. لَهُۥٓ ۖlahuto Him
  26. إِلَيْهِilayhiTo Him
  27. تُرْجَعُونَtur'jaʿūnayou will be returned
