Surah Al-'Ankabut, Ayah 3 (29:3)

ٱلْعَنْكَبُوت

وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ …

Quran 29:3 is ayah 3 of Surah Al-'Ankabut (“The Spider”), a Meccan surah of 69 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 396 of the Madani Mushaf.

29:3
وَلَقَدْفَتَنَّاٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۖفَلَيَعْلَمَنَّٱللَّهُٱلَّذِينَصَدَقُوا۟وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ٣
walaqad fatannā alladhīna min qablihim falayaʿlamanna l-lahu alladhīna ṣadaqū walayaʿlamanna l-kādhibīna

But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allāh will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.(3)
