Surah Al-'Ankabut, Ayah 39 (29:39)

ٱلْعَنْكَبُوت

وَقَٰرُونَ وَفِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ ۖ وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِى …

Quran 29:39 is ayah 39 of Surah Al-'Ankabut (“The Spider”), a Meccan surah of 69 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 401 of the Madani Mushaf.

29:39
وَقَٰرُونَوَفِرْعَوْنَوَهَٰمَٰنَ ۖوَلَقَدْجَآءَهُممُّوسَىٰبِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِفَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِوَمَاكَانُوا۟سَٰبِقِينَ٣٩
waqārūna wafir'ʿawna wahāmāna walaqad jāahum mūsā bil-bayināti fa-is'takbarū fī l-arḍi wamā kānū sābiqīna

And [We destroyed] Qārūn and Pharaoh and Hāmān. And Moses had already come to them with clear evidences, and they were arrogant in the land, but they were not outrunners [of Our punishment].(39)
