Surah Al-'Ankabut, Ayah 45 (29:45)

ٱلْعَنْكَبُوت

ٱتْلُ مَآ أُوحِىَ إِلَيْكَ مِنَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَأَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ تَنْهَىٰ عَنِ …

Quran 29:45 is ayah 45 of Surah Al-'Ankabut (“The Spider”), a Meccan surah of 69 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 401 of the Madani Mushaf.

29:45
ٱتْلُمَآأُوحِىَإِلَيْكَمِنَٱلْكِتَٰبِوَأَقِمِٱلصَّلَوٰةَ ۖإِنَّٱلصَّلَوٰةَتَنْهَىٰعَنِٱلْفَحْشَآءِوَٱلْمُنكَرِ ۗوَلَذِكْرُٱللَّهِأَكْبَرُ ۗوَٱللَّهُيَعْلَمُمَاتَصْنَعُونَ٤٥
ut'lu mā ūḥiya ilayka mina l-kitābi wa-aqimi l-ṣalata inna l-ṣalata tanhā ʿani l-faḥshāi wal-munkari waladhik'ru l-lahi akbaru wal-lahu yaʿlamu mā taṣnaʿūna

Recite, [O Muḥammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allāh is greater. And Allāh knows that which you do.(45)
