Surah Al-A'raf, Ayah 30 (7:30)

ٱلْأَعْرَاف

فَرِيقًا هَدَىٰ وَفَرِيقًا حَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ ۗ إِنَّهُمُ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ …

Quran 7:30 is ayah 30 of Surah Al-A'raf (“The Heights”), a Meccan surah of 206 ayahs. It is in Juz 8, on page 153 of the Madani Mushaf.

7:30
فَرِيقًاهَدَىٰوَفَرِيقًاحَقَّعَلَيْهِمُٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ ۗإِنَّهُمُٱتَّخَذُوا۟ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَأَوْلِيَآءَمِندُونِٱللَّهِوَيَحْسَبُونَأَنَّهُممُّهْتَدُونَ٣٠
farīqan hadā wafarīqan ḥaqqa ʿalayhimu l-ḍalālatu innahumu ittakhadhū l-shayāṭīna awliyāa min dūni l-lahi wayaḥsabūna annahum muh'tadūna

A group [of you] He guided, and a group deserved [to be in] error. Indeed, they [i.e., the latter] had taken the devils as allies instead of Allāh while they thought that they were guided.(30)
