ٱلْأَعْرَاف

ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ دِينَهُمْ لَهْوًا وَلَعِبًا وَغَرَّتْهُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا ۚ فَٱلْيَوْمَ …

Quran 7:51 is ayah 51 of Surah Al-A'raf (“The Heights”), a Meccan surah of 206 ayahs. It is in Juz 8, on page 156 of the Madani Mushaf.

7:51
ٱلَّذِينَٱتَّخَذُوا۟دِينَهُمْلَهْوًاوَلَعِبًاوَغَرَّتْهُمُٱلْحَيَوٰةُٱلدُّنْيَا ۚفَٱلْيَوْمَنَنسَىٰهُمْكَمَانَسُوا۟لِقَآءَيَوْمِهِمْهَٰذَاوَمَاكَانُوا۟بَِٔايَٰتِنَايَجْحَدُونَ٥١
alladhīna ittakhadhū dīnahum lahwan walaʿiban wagharrathumu l-ḥayatu l-dun'yā fal-yawma nansāhum kamā nasū liqāa yawmihim hādhā wamā kānū biāyātinā yajḥadūna

Who took their religion as distraction and amusement and whom the worldly life deluded." So today We will forget them just as they forgot the meeting of this Day of theirs and for having rejected Our verses.(51)

  18. بَِٔايَٰتِنَاbiāyātināwith Our Verses
  19. يَجْحَدُونَyajḥadūnathey reject
