Surah Al-A'raf, Ayah 56 (7:56)

ٱلْأَعْرَاف

وَلَا تُفْسِدُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بَعْدَ إِصْلَٰحِهَا وَٱدْعُوهُ خَوْفًا وَطَمَعًا ۚ إِنَّ رَحْمَتَ …

Quran 7:56 is ayah 56 of Surah Al-A'raf (“The Heights”), a Meccan surah of 206 ayahs. It is in Juz 8, on page 157 of the Madani Mushaf.

وَلَاتُفْسِدُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِبَعْدَإِصْلَٰحِهَاوَٱدْعُوهُخَوْفًاوَطَمَعًا ۚإِنَّرَحْمَتَٱللَّهِقَرِيبٌمِّنَٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ٥٦
walā tuf'sidū fī l-arḍi baʿda iṣ'lāḥihā wa-id'ʿūhu khawfan waṭamaʿan inna raḥmata l-lahi qarībun mina l-muḥ'sinīna

And cause not corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allāh is near to the doers of good.(56)
