Surah Al-A'raf, Ayah 99 (7:99)

ٱلْأَعْرَاف

أَفَأَمِنُوا۟ مَكْرَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَلَا يَأْمَنُ مَكْرَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ

Quran 7:99 is ayah 99 of Surah Al-A'raf (“The Heights”), a Meccan surah of 206 ayahs. It is in Juz 9, on page 163 of the Madani Mushaf.

أَفَأَمِنُوا۟مَكْرَٱللَّهِ ۚفَلَايَأْمَنُمَكْرَٱللَّهِإِلَّاٱلْقَوْمُٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ٩٩
afa-aminū makra l-lahi falā yamanu makra l-lahi illā l-qawmu l-khāsirūna

Then, did they feel secure from the plan of Allāh? But no one feels secure from the plan of Allāh except the losing people.(99)
