Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 166 (2:166)

ٱلْبَقَرَة

إِذْ تَبَرَّأَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتُّبِعُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّبَعُوا۟ وَرَأَوُا۟ ٱلْعَذَابَ وَتَقَطَّعَتْ بِهِمُ …

Quran 2:166 is ayah 166 of Surah Al-Baqarah (“The Cow”), a Medinan surah of 286 ayahs. It is in Juz 2, on page 25 of the Madani Mushaf.

إِذْتَبَرَّأَٱلَّذِينَٱتُّبِعُوا۟مِنَٱلَّذِينَٱتَّبَعُوا۟وَرَأَوُا۟ٱلْعَذَابَوَتَقَطَّعَتْبِهِمُٱلْأَسْبَابُ١٦٦
idh tabarra-a alladhīna ittubiʿū mina alladhīna ittabaʿū wara-awū l-ʿadhāba wataqaṭṭaʿat bihimu l-asbābu

[And they should consider that] when those who have been followed disassociate themselves from those who followed [them], and they [all] see the punishment, and cut off from them are the ties [of relationship],(166)
