ٱلَّذِينَ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَ ٱللَّهِ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مِيثَٰقِهِۦ وَيَقْطَعُونَ مَآ أَمَرَ ٱللَّهُ بِهِۦٓ أَن …

Quran 2:27 is ayah 27 of Surah Al-Baqarah (“The Cow”), a Medinan surah of 286 ayahs. It is in Juz 1, on page 5 of the Madani Mushaf.

ٱلَّذِينَيَنقُضُونَعَهْدَٱللَّهِمِنۢبَعْدِمِيثَٰقِهِۦوَيَقْطَعُونَمَآأَمَرَٱللَّهُبِهِۦٓأَنيُوصَلَوَيُفْسِدُونَفِىٱلْأَرْضِ ۚأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَهُمُٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ٢٧
alladhīna yanquḍūna ʿahda l-lahi min baʿdi mīthāqihi wayaqṭaʿūna mā amara l-lahu bihi an yūṣala wayuf'sidūna fī l-arḍi ulāika humu l-khāsirūna

Who break the covenant of Allāh after contracting it and sever that which Allāh has ordered to be joined and cause corruption on earth. It is those who are the losers.(27)
