ٱلْبَقَرَة

قَالُوا۟ ٱدْعُ لَنَا رَبَّكَ يُبَيِّن لَّنَا مَا لَوْنُهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٌ …

Quran 2:69 is ayah 69 of Surah Al-Baqarah (“The Cow”), a Medinan surah of 286 ayahs. It is in Juz 1, on page 10 of the Madani Mushaf.

قَالُوا۟ٱدْعُلَنَارَبَّكَيُبَيِّنلَّنَامَالَوْنُهَا ۚقَالَإِنَّهُۥيَقُولُإِنَّهَابَقَرَةٌصَفْرَآءُفَاقِعٌلَّوْنُهَاتَسُرُّٱلنَّٰظِرِينَ٦٩
qālū ud'ʿu lanā rabbaka yubayyin lanā mā lawnuhā qāla innahu yaqūlu innahā baqaratun ṣafrāu fāqiʿun lawnuhā tasurru l-nāẓirīna

They said, "Call upon your Lord to show us what is her color." He said, "He says, 'It is a yellow cow, bright in color - pleasing to the observers.'"(69)
