Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 73 (2:73)

ٱلْبَقَرَة

فَقُلْنَا ٱضْرِبُوهُ بِبَعْضِهَا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُحْىِ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ …

Quran 2:73 is ayah 73 of Surah Al-Baqarah (“The Cow”), a Medinan surah of 286 ayahs. It is in Juz 1, on page 11 of the Madani Mushaf.

2:73
فَقُلْنَاٱضْرِبُوهُبِبَعْضِهَا ۚكَذَٰلِكَيُحْىِٱللَّهُٱلْمَوْتَىٰوَيُرِيكُمْءَايَٰتِهِۦلَعَلَّكُمْتَعْقِلُونَ٧٣
faqul'nā iḍ'ribūhu bibaʿḍihā kadhālika yuḥ'yī l-lahu l-mawtā wayurīkum āyātihi laʿallakum taʿqilūna

So We said, "Strike him [i.e., the slain man] with part of it." Thus does Allāh bring the dead to life, and He shows you His signs that you might reason.(73)
