Surah Al-Baqarah, Ayah 9 (2:9)

ٱلْبَقَرَة

يُخَٰدِعُونَ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَمَا يَخْدَعُونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمْ وَمَا يَشْعُرُونَ

Quran 2:9 is ayah 9 of Surah Al-Baqarah (“The Cow”), a Medinan surah of 286 ayahs. It is in Juz 1, on page 3 of the Madani Mushaf.

يُخَٰدِعُونَٱللَّهَوَٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوا۟وَمَايَخْدَعُونَإِلَّآأَنفُسَهُمْوَمَايَشْعُرُونَ٩
yukhādiʿūna l-laha wa-alladhīna āmanū wamā yakhdaʿūna illā anfusahum wamā yashʿurūna

They [think to] deceive Allāh and those who believe, but they deceive not except themselves and perceive [it] not.(9)
