Surah Al-Furqan, Ayah 54 (25:54)

ٱلْفُرْقَان

وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ بَشَرًا فَجَعَلَهُۥ نَسَبًا وَصِهْرًا ۗ وَكَانَ رَبُّكَ قَدِيرًا

Quran 25:54 is ayah 54 of Surah Al-Furqan (“The Criterion”), a Meccan surah of 77 ayahs. It is in Juz 19, on page 364 of the Madani Mushaf.

وَهُوَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَمِنَٱلْمَآءِبَشَرًافَجَعَلَهُۥنَسَبًاوَصِهْرًا ۗوَكَانَرَبُّكَقَدِيرًا٥٤
wahuwa alladhī khalaqa mina l-māi basharan fajaʿalahu nasaban waṣih'ran wakāna rabbuka qadīran

And it is He who has created from water [i.e., semen] a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].(54)
