Surah Al-Hadid, Ayah 23 (57:23)

ٱلْحَدِيد

لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوا۟ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ …

Quran 57:23 is ayah 23 of Surah Al-Hadid (“The Iron”), a Medinan surah of 29 ayahs. It is in Juz 27, on page 540 of the Madani Mushaf.

57:23
لِّكَيْلَاتَأْسَوْا۟عَلَىٰمَافَاتَكُمْوَلَاتَفْرَحُوا۟بِمَآءَاتَىٰكُمْ ۗوَٱللَّهُلَايُحِبُّكُلَّمُخْتَالٍفَخُورٍ٢٣
likaylā tasaw ʿalā mā fātakum walā tafraḥū bimā ātākum wal-lahu lā yuḥibbu kulla mukh'tālin fakhūrin

In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allāh does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful -(23)
