ٱلْحَدِيد

لِّئَلَّا يَعْلَمَ أَهْلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ أَلَّا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَىٰ شَىْءٍ مِّن فَضْلِ ٱللَّهِ ۙ وَأَنَّ …

Quran 57:29 is ayah 29 of Surah Al-Hadid (“The Iron”), a Medinan surah of 29 ayahs. It is in Juz 27, on page 541 of the Madani Mushaf.

57:29
لِّئَلَّايَعْلَمَأَهْلُٱلْكِتَٰبِأَلَّايَقْدِرُونَعَلَىٰشَىْءٍمِّنفَضْلِٱللَّهِ ۙوَأَنَّٱلْفَضْلَبِيَدِٱللَّهِيُؤْتِيهِمَنيَشَآءُ ۚوَٱللَّهُذُوٱلْفَضْلِٱلْعَظِيمِ٢٩
li-allā yaʿlama ahlu l-kitābi allā yaqdirūna ʿalā shayin min faḍli l-lahi wa-anna l-faḍla biyadi l-lahi yu'tīhi man yashāu wal-lahu dhū l-faḍli l-ʿaẓīmi

[This is] so that the People of the Scripture may know that they are not able [to obtain] anything from the bounty of Allāh and that [all] bounty is in the hand of Allāh; He gives it to whom He wills. And Allāh is the possessor of great bounty.(29)
