ٱلْحُجُرَات

يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا۟ ۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا۟ عَلَىَّ إِسْلَٰمَكُم ۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ …

Quran 49:17 is ayah 17 of Surah Al-Hujurat (“The Rooms”), a Medinan surah of 18 ayahs. It is in Juz 26, on page 517 of the Madani Mushaf.

49:17
يَمُنُّونَعَلَيْكَأَنْأَسْلَمُوا۟ ۖقُللَّاتَمُنُّوا۟عَلَىَّإِسْلَٰمَكُم ۖبَلِٱللَّهُيَمُنُّعَلَيْكُمْأَنْهَدَىٰكُمْلِلْإِيمَٰنِإِنكُنتُمْصَٰدِقِينَ١٧
yamunnūna ʿalayka an aslamū qul lā tamunnū ʿalayya is'lāmakum bali l-lahu yamunnu ʿalaykum an hadākum lil'īmāni in kuntum ṣādiqīna

They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islām. Say, "Do not consider your Islām a favor to me. Rather, Allāh has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful."(17)
