Surah Al-Kahf, Ayah 12 (18:12)

ٱلْكَهْف

ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَٰهُمْ لِنَعْلَمَ أَىُّ ٱلْحِزْبَيْنِ أَحْصَىٰ لِمَا لَبِثُوٓا۟ أَمَدًا

Quran 18:12 is ayah 12 of Surah Al-Kahf (“The Cave”), a Meccan surah of 110 ayahs. It is in Juz 15, on page 294 of the Madani Mushaf.

ثُمَّبَعَثْنَٰهُمْلِنَعْلَمَأَىُّٱلْحِزْبَيْنِأَحْصَىٰلِمَالَبِثُوٓا۟أَمَدًا١٢
thumma baʿathnāhum linaʿlama ayyu l-ḥiz'bayni aḥṣā limā labithū amadan

Then We awakened them that We might show which of the two factions was most precise in calculating what [extent] they had remained in time.(12)
