فَطَوَّعَتْ لَهُۥ نَفْسُهُۥ قَتْلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصْبَحَ مِنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ

Quran 5:30 is ayah 30 of Surah Al-Ma'idah (“The Table Spread”), a Medinan surah of 120 ayahs. It is in Juz 6, on page 112 of the Madani Mushaf.

5:30

فَطَوَّعَتْلَهُۥنَفْسُهُۥقَتْلَأَخِيهِفَقَتَلَهُۥفَأَصْبَحَمِنَٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ٣٠

faṭawwaʿat lahu nafsuhu qatla akhīhi faqatalahu fa-aṣbaḥa mina l-khāsirīna

And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers.(30)
