Surah Al-Ma'idah, Ayah 53 (5:53)

ٱلْمَائِدَة

وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِ ٱلَّذِينَ أَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ ۙ …

Quran 5:53 is ayah 53 of Surah Al-Ma'idah (“The Table Spread”), a Medinan surah of 120 ayahs. It is in Juz 6, on page 117 of the Madani Mushaf.

5:53
وَيَقُولُٱلَّذِينَءَامَنُوٓا۟أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِٱلَّذِينَأَقْسَمُوا۟بِٱللَّهِجَهْدَأَيْمَٰنِهِمْ ۙإِنَّهُمْلَمَعَكُمْ ۚحَبِطَتْأَعْمَٰلُهُمْفَأَصْبَحُوا۟خَٰسِرِينَ٥٣
wayaqūlu alladhīna āmanū ahāulāi alladhīna aqsamū bil-lahi jahda aymānihim innahum lamaʿakum ḥabiṭat aʿmāluhum fa-aṣbaḥū khāsirīna

And those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by Allāh their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you?" Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers.(53)

  11. لَمَعَكُمْ ۚlamaʿakum(were) with you
  12. حَبِطَتْḥabiṭatBecame worthless
  13. أَعْمَٰلُهُمْaʿmāluhumtheir deeds
  14. فَأَصْبَحُوا۟fa-aṣbaḥūand they became
  15. خَٰسِرِينَkhāsirīna(the) losers
