لَقَدْ وُعِدْنَا نَحْنُ وَءَابَآؤُنَا هَٰذَا مِن قَبْلُ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّآ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ

Quran 23:83 is ayah 83 of Surah Al-Mu'minun (“The Believers”), a Meccan surah of 118 ayahs. It is in Juz 18, on page 347 of the Madani Mushaf.

23:83

لَقَدْوُعِدْنَانَحْنُوَءَابَآؤُنَاهَٰذَامِنقَبْلُإِنْهَٰذَآإِلَّآأَسَٰطِيرُٱلْأَوَّلِينَ٨٣

laqad wuʿid'nā naḥnu waābāunā hādhā min qablu in hādhā illā asāṭīru l-awalīna

We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples."(83)
