Surah Al-Qamar, Ayah 37 (54:37)

ٱلْقَمَر

وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِۦ فَطَمَسْنَآ أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ

Quran 54:37 is ayah 37 of Surah Al-Qamar (“The Moon”), a Meccan surah of 55 ayahs. It is in Juz 27, on page 530 of the Madani Mushaf.

وَلَقَدْرَٰوَدُوهُعَنضَيْفِهِۦفَطَمَسْنَآأَعْيُنَهُمْفَذُوقُوا۟عَذَابِىوَنُذُرِ٣٧
walaqad rāwadūhu ʿan ḍayfihi faṭamasnā aʿyunahum fadhūqū ʿadhābī wanudhuri

And they had demanded from him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "Taste My punishment and warning."(37)
