Surah Al-Qasas, Ayah 35 (28:35)

ٱلْقَصَص

قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَنَجْعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلْطَٰنًا فَلَا يَصِلُونَ إِلَيْكُمَا ۚ …

Quran 28:35 is ayah 35 of Surah Al-Qasas (“The Stories”), a Meccan surah of 88 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 389 of the Madani Mushaf.

28:35
قَالَسَنَشُدُّعَضُدَكَبِأَخِيكَوَنَجْعَلُلَكُمَاسُلْطَٰنًافَلَايَصِلُونَإِلَيْكُمَا ۚبَِٔايَٰتِنَآأَنتُمَاوَمَنِٱتَّبَعَكُمَاٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ٣٥
qāla sanashuddu ʿaḍudaka bi-akhīka wanajʿalu lakumā sul'ṭānan falā yaṣilūna ilaykumā biāyātinā antumā wamani ittabaʿakumā l-ghālibūna

[Allāh] said, "We will strengthen your arm through your brother and grant you both supremacy so they will not reach you. [It will be] through Our signs; you and those who follow you will be the predominant."(35)
