ٱلْقَصَص

وَإِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦٓ إِنَّهُ ٱلْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن …

Quran 28:53 is ayah 53 of Surah Al-Qasas (“The Stories”), a Meccan surah of 88 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 392 of the Madani Mushaf.

28:53
وَإِذَايُتْلَىٰعَلَيْهِمْقَالُوٓا۟ءَامَنَّابِهِۦٓإِنَّهُٱلْحَقُّمِنرَّبِّنَآإِنَّاكُنَّامِنقَبْلِهِۦمُسْلِمِينَ٥٣
wa-idhā yut'lā ʿalayhim qālū āmannā bihi innahu l-ḥaqu min rabbinā innā kunnā min qablihi mus'limīna

And when it is recited to them, they say, "We have believed in it; indeed, it is the truth from our Lord. Indeed we were, [even] before it, Muslims [i.e., submitting to Allāh]."(53)
