Surah Al-Qasas, Ayah 61 (28:61)

ٱلْقَصَص

أَفَمَن وَعَدْنَٰهُ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ لَٰقِيهِ كَمَن مَّتَّعْنَٰهُ مَتَٰعَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا ثُمَّ …

Quran 28:61 is ayah 61 of Surah Al-Qasas (“The Stories”), a Meccan surah of 88 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 393 of the Madani Mushaf.

28:61
أَفَمَنوَعَدْنَٰهُوَعْدًاحَسَنًافَهُوَلَٰقِيهِكَمَنمَّتَّعْنَٰهُمَتَٰعَٱلْحَيَوٰةِٱلدُّنْيَاثُمَّهُوَيَوْمَٱلْقِيَٰمَةِمِنَٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ٦١
afaman waʿadnāhu waʿdan ḥasanan fahuwa lāqīhi kaman mattaʿnāhu matāʿa l-ḥayati l-dun'yā thumma huwa yawma l-qiyāmati mina l-muḥ'ḍarīna

Then is he whom We have promised a good promise which he will meet [i.e., obtain] like he for whom We provided enjoyment of worldly life [but] then he is, on the Day of Resurrection, among those presented [for punishment in Hell]?(61)
