Surah Al-Qasas, Ayah 80 (28:80)

ٱلْقَصَص

وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْعِلْمَ وَيْلَكُمْ ثَوَابُ ٱللَّهِ خَيْرٌ لِّمَنْ ءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ …

Quran 28:80 is ayah 80 of Surah Al-Qasas (“The Stories”), a Meccan surah of 88 ayahs. It is in Juz 20, on page 395 of the Madani Mushaf.

28:80
وَقَالَٱلَّذِينَأُوتُوا۟ٱلْعِلْمَوَيْلَكُمْثَوَابُٱللَّهِخَيْرٌلِّمَنْءَامَنَوَعَمِلَصَٰلِحًاوَلَايُلَقَّىٰهَآإِلَّاٱلصَّٰبِرُونَ٨٠
waqāla alladhīna ūtū l-ʿil'ma waylakum thawābu l-lahi khayrun liman āmana waʿamila ṣāliḥan walā yulaqqāhā illā l-ṣābirūna

But those who had been given knowledge said, "Woe to you! The reward of Allāh is better for he who believes and does righteousness. And none are granted it except the patient."(80)
