Surah Al-Waqi'ah, Ayah 47 (56:47)

ٱلْوَاقِعَة

وَكَانُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ

Quran 56:47 is ayah 47 of Surah Al-Waqi'ah (“The Inevitable”), a Meccan surah of 96 ayahs. It is in Juz 27, on page 535 of the Madani Mushaf.

وَكَانُوا۟يَقُولُونَأَئِذَامِتْنَاوَكُنَّاتُرَابًاوَعِظَٰمًاأَءِنَّالَمَبْعُوثُونَ٤٧
wakānū yaqūlūna a-idhā mit'nā wakunnā turāban waʿiẓāman a-innā lamabʿūthūna

And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?(47)
