Surah Ali 'Imran, Ayah 11 (3:11)

آلِ عِمْرَان

كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا۟ بَِٔايَٰتِنَا فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ …

Quran 3:11 is ayah 11 of Surah Ali 'Imran (“Family of Imran”), a Medinan surah of 200 ayahs. It is in Juz 3, on page 51 of the Madani Mushaf.

كَدَأْبِءَالِفِرْعَوْنَوَٱلَّذِينَمِنقَبْلِهِمْ ۚكَذَّبُوا۟بَِٔايَٰتِنَافَأَخَذَهُمُٱللَّهُبِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗوَٱللَّهُشَدِيدُٱلْعِقَابِ١١
kadabi āli fir'ʿawna wa-alladhīna min qablihim kadhabū biāyātinā fa-akhadhahumu l-lahu bidhunūbihim wal-lahu shadīdu l-ʿiqābi

[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and those before them. They denied Our signs, so Allāh seized them for their sins. And Allāh is severe in penalty.(11)
