Surah Ali 'Imran, Ayah 128 (3:128)

آلِ عِمْرَان

لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ أَوْ يَتُوبَ عَلَيْهِمْ أَوْ يُعَذِّبَهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ ظَٰلِمُونَ

Quran 3:128 is ayah 128 of Surah Ali 'Imran (“Family of Imran”), a Medinan surah of 200 ayahs. It is in Juz 4, on page 66 of the Madani Mushaf.

لَيْسَلَكَمِنَٱلْأَمْرِشَىْءٌأَوْيَتُوبَعَلَيْهِمْأَوْيُعَذِّبَهُمْفَإِنَّهُمْظَٰلِمُونَ١٢٨
laysa laka mina l-amri shayon aw yatūba ʿalayhim aw yuʿadhibahum fa-innahum ẓālimūna

Not for you, [O Muḥammad, but for Allāh], is the decision whether He should [cut them down] or forgive them or punish them, for indeed, they are wrongdoers.(128)
