Surah An-Nisa, Ayah 38 (4:38)

ٱلنِّسَاء

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلْيَوْمِ …

Quran 4:38 is ayah 38 of Surah An-Nisa (“The Women”), a Medinan surah of 176 ayahs. It is in Juz 5, on page 85 of the Madani Mushaf.

4:38
وَٱلَّذِينَيُنفِقُونَأَمْوَٰلَهُمْرِئَآءَٱلنَّاسِوَلَايُؤْمِنُونَبِٱللَّهِوَلَابِٱلْيَوْمِٱلَْٔاخِرِ ۗوَمَنيَكُنِٱلشَّيْطَٰنُلَهُۥقَرِينًافَسَآءَقَرِينًا٣٨
wa-alladhīna yunfiqūna amwālahum riāa l-nāsi walā yu'minūna bil-lahi walā bil-yawmi l-ākhiri waman yakuni l-shayṭānu lahu qarīnan fasāa qarīnan

And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allāh nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.(38)
