Surah An-Nisa, Ayah 42 (4:42)

ٱلنِّسَاء

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَوَدُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَعَصَوُا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ لَوْ تُسَوَّىٰ بِهِمُ ٱلْأَرْضُ وَلَا …

Quran 4:42 is ayah 42 of Surah An-Nisa (“The Women”), a Medinan surah of 176 ayahs. It is in Juz 5, on page 85 of the Madani Mushaf.

4:42
يَوْمَئِذٍيَوَدُّٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟وَعَصَوُا۟ٱلرَّسُولَلَوْتُسَوَّىٰبِهِمُٱلْأَرْضُوَلَايَكْتُمُونَٱللَّهَحَدِيثًا٤٢
yawma-idhin yawaddu alladhīna kafarū waʿaṣawū l-rasūla law tusawwā bihimu l-arḍu walā yaktumūna l-laha ḥadīthan

That Day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish they could be covered by the earth. And they will not conceal from Allāh a [single] statement.(42)
