ٱلرُّوم

وَإِذَآ أَذَقْنَا ٱلنَّاسَ رَحْمَةً فَرِحُوا۟ بِهَا ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌۢ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ …

Quran 30:36 is ayah 36 of Surah Ar-Rum (“The Romans”), a Meccan surah of 60 ayahs. It is in Juz 21, on page 408 of the Madani Mushaf.

30:36
وَإِذَآأَذَقْنَاٱلنَّاسَرَحْمَةًفَرِحُوا۟بِهَا ۖوَإِنتُصِبْهُمْسَيِّئَةٌۢبِمَاقَدَّمَتْأَيْدِيهِمْإِذَاهُمْيَقْنَطُونَ٣٦
wa-idhā adhaqnā l-nāsa raḥmatan fariḥū bihā wa-in tuṣib'hum sayyi-atun bimā qaddamat aydīhim idhā hum yaqnaṭūna

And when We let the people taste mercy, they rejoice therein, but if evil afflicts them for what their hands have put forth, immediately they despair.(36)
