Surah Ar-Rum, Ayah 8 (30:8)

ٱلرُّوم

أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِم ۗ مَّا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَآ …

Quran 30:8 is ayah 8 of Surah Ar-Rum (“The Romans”), a Meccan surah of 60 ayahs. It is in Juz 21, on page 405 of the Madani Mushaf.

30:8
أَوَلَمْيَتَفَكَّرُوا۟فِىٓأَنفُسِهِم ۗمَّاخَلَقَٱللَّهُٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِوَٱلْأَرْضَوَمَابَيْنَهُمَآإِلَّابِٱلْحَقِّوَأَجَلٍمُّسَمًّى ۗوَإِنَّكَثِيرًامِّنَٱلنَّاسِبِلِقَآئِرَبِّهِمْلَكَٰفِرُونَ٨
awalam yatafakkarū fī anfusihim mā khalaqa l-lahu l-samāwāti wal-arḍa wamā baynahumā illā bil-ḥaqi wa-ajalin musamman wa-inna kathīran mina l-nāsi biliqāi rabbihim lakāfirūna

Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allāh has not created the heavens and the earth and what is between them except in truth and for a specified term. And indeed, many of the people, in the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.(8)

  21. رَبِّهِمْrabbihim(with) their Lord
  22. لَكَٰفِرُونَlakāfirūnasurely (are) disbelievers

وَإِنَّ كَثِيراً مِّنَ النَّاسِ بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمْ لَكَـفِرُونَ

(8. cont - And indeed many of mankind deny meeting with their Lord.) Then Allah tells us of the truth of the Message brought by the Messengers and how He supported them with miracles and clear signs, such as when He destroyed those who disbelieved in them and saved those who believed in them.
