ٱلصَّافَّات

فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ مَعَهُ ٱلسَّعْىَ قَالَ يَٰبُنَىَّ إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰ فِى ٱلْمَنَامِ أَنِّىٓ أَذْبَحُكَ …

Quran 37:102 is ayah 102 of Surah As-Saffat (“Those who set the Ranks”), a Meccan surah of 182 ayahs. It is in Juz 23, on page 449 of the Madani Mushaf.

37:102
فَلَمَّابَلَغَمَعَهُٱلسَّعْىَقَالَيَٰبُنَىَّإِنِّىٓأَرَىٰفِىٱلْمَنَامِأَنِّىٓأَذْبَحُكَفَٱنظُرْمَاذَاتَرَىٰ ۚقَالَيَٰٓأَبَتِٱفْعَلْمَاتُؤْمَرُ ۖسَتَجِدُنِىٓإِنشَآءَٱللَّهُمِنَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ١٠٢
falammā balagha maʿahu l-saʿya qāla yābunayya innī arā fī l-manāmi annī adhbaḥuka fa-unẓur mādhā tarā qāla yāabati if'ʿal mā tu'maru satajidunī in shāa l-lahu mina l-ṣābirīna

And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allāh wills, of the steadfast."(102)

  18. ٱفْعَلْif'ʿalDo
  19. مَاmāwhat
  20. تُؤْمَرُ ۖtu'maruyou are commanded
  21. سَتَجِدُنِىٓsatajidunīYou will find me
  22. إِنinif
  23. شَآءَshāaAllah wills
  24. ٱللَّهُl-lahuAllah wills
  25. مِنَminaof
  26. ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَl-ṣābirīnathe patient ones
