Surah Ash-Shuraa, Ayah 17 (42:17)

ٱلشُّورَىٰ

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَٱلْمِيزَانَ ۗ وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ لَعَلَّ ٱلسَّاعَةَ …

Quran 42:17 is ayah 17 of Surah Ash-Shuraa (“The Consultation”), a Meccan surah of 53 ayahs. It is in Juz 25, on page 485 of the Madani Mushaf.

42:17
ٱللَّهُٱلَّذِىٓأَنزَلَٱلْكِتَٰبَبِٱلْحَقِّوَٱلْمِيزَانَ ۗوَمَايُدْرِيكَلَعَلَّٱلسَّاعَةَقَرِيبٌ١٧
al-lahu alladhī anzala l-kitāba bil-ḥaqi wal-mīzāna wamā yud'rīka laʿalla l-sāʿata qarībun

It is Allāh who has sent down the Book in truth and [also] the balance [i.e., justice]. And what will make you perceive? Perhaps the Hour is near.(17)
