وَٱلَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلْإِثْمِ وَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا۟ هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ

Quran 42:37 is ayah 37 of Surah Ash-Shuraa (“The Consultation”), a Meccan surah of 53 ayahs. It is in Juz 25, on page 487 of the Madani Mushaf.

42:37

وَٱلَّذِينَيَجْتَنِبُونَكَبَٰٓئِرَٱلْإِثْمِوَٱلْفَوَٰحِشَوَإِذَامَاغَضِبُوا۟هُمْيَغْفِرُونَ٣٧

wa-alladhīna yajtanibūna kabāira l-ith'mi wal-fawāḥisha wa-idhā mā ghaḍibū hum yaghfirūna

And those who avoid the major sins and immoralities, and when they are angry, they forgive,(37)
