ٱلتَّوْبَة

وَجَآءَ ٱلْمُعَذِّرُونَ مِنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ لِيُؤْذَنَ لَهُمْ وَقَعَدَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَبُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ …

Quran 9:90 is ayah 90 of Surah At-Tawbah (“The Repentance”), a Medinan surah of 129 ayahs. It is in Juz 10, on page 201 of the Madani Mushaf.

9:90
وَجَآءَٱلْمُعَذِّرُونَمِنَٱلْأَعْرَابِلِيُؤْذَنَلَهُمْوَقَعَدَٱلَّذِينَكَذَبُوا۟ٱللَّهَوَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚسَيُصِيبُٱلَّذِينَكَفَرُوا۟مِنْهُمْعَذَابٌأَلِيمٌ٩٠
wajāa l-muʿadhirūna mina l-aʿrābi liyu'dhana lahum waqaʿada alladhīna kadhabū l-laha warasūlahu sayuṣību alladhīna kafarū min'hum ʿadhābun alīmun

And those with excuses among the bedouins came to be permitted [to remain], and they who had lied to Allāh and His Messenger sat [at home]. There will strike those who disbelieved among them a painful punishment.(90)

وَقَعَدَ الَّذِينَ كَذَبُواْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ

(and those who had lied to Allah and His Messenger sat at home), and did not ask for permission for it; and Allah warned them of painful punishment,

سَيُصِيبُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِنْهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

(a painful torment will seize those of them who disbelieve.)
