ٱلتَّوْبَة

وَمِنَ ٱلْأَعْرَابِ مَن يَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنفِقُ مَغْرَمًا وَيَتَرَبَّصُ بِكُمُ ٱلدَّوَآئِرَ ۚ عَلَيْهِمْ …

Quran 9:98 is ayah 98 of Surah At-Tawbah (“The Repentance”), a Medinan surah of 129 ayahs. It is in Juz 11, on page 202 of the Madani Mushaf.

9:98
وَمِنَٱلْأَعْرَابِمَنيَتَّخِذُمَايُنفِقُمَغْرَمًاوَيَتَرَبَّصُبِكُمُٱلدَّوَآئِرَ ۚعَلَيْهِمْدَآئِرَةُٱلسَّوْءِ ۗوَٱللَّهُسَمِيعٌعَلِيمٌ٩٨
wamina l-aʿrābi man yattakhidhu mā yunfiqu maghraman wayatarabbaṣu bikumu l-dawāira ʿalayhim dāiratu l-sawi wal-lahu samīʿun ʿalīmun

And among the bedouins are some who consider what they spend as a loss and await for you turns of misfortune. Upon them will be a misfortune of evil. And Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.(98)
