Surah Fussilat, Ayah 15 (41:15)

فُصِّلَت

فَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ ٱلْحَقِّ وَقَالُوا۟ مَنْ أَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً ۖ …

Quran 41:15 is ayah 15 of Surah Fussilat (“Explained in Detail”), a Meccan surah of 54 ayahs. It is in Juz 24, on page 478 of the Madani Mushaf.

41:15
فَأَمَّاعَادٌفَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟فِىٱلْأَرْضِبِغَيْرِٱلْحَقِّوَقَالُوا۟مَنْأَشَدُّمِنَّاقُوَّةً ۖأَوَلَمْيَرَوْا۟أَنَّٱللَّهَٱلَّذِىخَلَقَهُمْهُوَأَشَدُّمِنْهُمْقُوَّةً ۖوَكَانُوا۟بَِٔايَٰتِنَايَجْحَدُونَ١٥
fa-ammā ʿādun fa-is'takbarū fī l-arḍi bighayri l-ḥaqi waqālū man ashaddu minnā quwwatan awalam yaraw anna l-laha alladhī khalaqahum huwa ashaddu min'hum quwwatan wakānū biāyātinā yajḥadūna

As for ʿAad, they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said, "Who is greater than us in strength?" Did they not consider that Allāh who created them was greater than them in strength? But they were rejecting Our signs.(15)
