Surah Fussilat, Ayah 24 (41:24)

فُصِّلَت

فَإِن يَصْبِرُوا۟ فَٱلنَّارُ مَثْوًى لَّهُمْ ۖ وَإِن يَسْتَعْتِبُوا۟ فَمَا هُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُعْتَبِينَ

Quran 41:24 is ayah 24 of Surah Fussilat (“Explained in Detail”), a Meccan surah of 54 ayahs. It is in Juz 24, on page 479 of the Madani Mushaf.

41:24
فَإِنيَصْبِرُوا۟فَٱلنَّارُمَثْوًىلَّهُمْ ۖوَإِنيَسْتَعْتِبُوا۟فَمَاهُممِّنَٱلْمُعْتَبِينَ٢٤
fa-in yaṣbirū fal-nāru mathwan lahum wa-in yastaʿtibū famā hum mina l-muʿ'tabīna

So [even] if they are patient, the Fire is a residence for them; and if they ask to appease [Allāh], they will not be of those who are allowed to appease.(24)
