Surah Ghafir, Ayah 55 (40:55)

غَافِر

فَٱصْبِرْ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَٱسْتَغْفِرْ لِذَنۢبِكَ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ …

Quran 40:55 is ayah 55 of Surah Ghafir (“The Forgiver”), a Meccan surah of 85 ayahs. It is in Juz 24, on page 473 of the Madani Mushaf.

40:55
فَٱصْبِرْإِنَّوَعْدَٱللَّهِحَقٌّوَٱسْتَغْفِرْلِذَنۢبِكَوَسَبِّحْبِحَمْدِرَبِّكَبِٱلْعَشِىِّوَٱلْإِبْكَٰرِ٥٥
fa-iṣ'bir inna waʿda l-lahi ḥaqqun wa-is'taghfir lidhanbika wasabbiḥ biḥamdi rabbika bil-ʿashiyi wal-ib'kāri

So be patient, [O Muḥammad]. Indeed, the promise of Allāh is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt [Allāh] with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.(55)
