Surah Hud, Ayah 43 (11:43)

هُود

قَالَ سََٔاوِىٓ إِلَىٰ جَبَلٍ يَعْصِمُنِى مِنَ ٱلْمَآءِ ۚ قَالَ لَا عَاصِمَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مِنْ أَمْرِ …

Quran 11:43 is ayah 43 of Surah Hud (“Hud”), a Meccan surah of 123 ayahs. It is in Juz 12, on page 226 of the Madani Mushaf.

قَالَسََٔاوِىٓإِلَىٰجَبَلٍيَعْصِمُنِىمِنَٱلْمَآءِ ۚقَالَلَاعَاصِمَٱلْيَوْمَمِنْأَمْرِٱللَّهِإِلَّامَنرَّحِمَ ۚوَحَالَبَيْنَهُمَاٱلْمَوْجُفَكَانَمِنَٱلْمُغْرَقِينَ٤٣
qāla saāwī ilā jabalin yaʿṣimunī mina l-māi qāla lā ʿāṣima l-yawma min amri l-lahi illā man raḥima waḥāla baynahumā l-mawju fakāna mina l-mugh'raqīna

[But] he said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." [Noah] said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allāh, except for whom He gives mercy." And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned.(43)
