Surah Hud, Ayah 56 (11:56)

هُود

إِنِّى تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ رَبِّى وَرَبِّكُم ۚ مَّا مِن دَآبَّةٍ إِلَّا هُوَ ءَاخِذٌۢ …

Quran 11:56 is ayah 56 of Surah Hud (“Hud”), a Meccan surah of 123 ayahs. It is in Juz 12, on page 228 of the Madani Mushaf.

إِنِّىتَوَكَّلْتُعَلَىٱللَّهِرَبِّىوَرَبِّكُم ۚمَّامِندَآبَّةٍإِلَّاهُوَءَاخِذٌۢبِنَاصِيَتِهَآ ۚإِنَّرَبِّىعَلَىٰصِرَٰطٍمُّسْتَقِيمٍ٥٦
innī tawakkaltu ʿalā l-lahi rabbī warabbikum mā min dābbatin illā huwa ākhidhun bināṣiyatihā inna rabbī ʿalā ṣirāṭin mus'taqīmin

Indeed, I have relied upon Allāh, my Lord and your Lord. There is no creature but that He holds it by its forelock [i.e., controls it]. Indeed, my Lord is on a path [that is] straight.(56)
