Surah Ibrahim, Ayah 3 (14:3)

إِبْرَاهِيم

ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَحِبُّونَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا عَلَى ٱلَْٔاخِرَةِ وَيَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ …

Quran 14:3 is ayah 3 of Surah Ibrahim (“Abraham”), a Meccan surah of 52 ayahs. It is in Juz 13, on page 255 of the Madani Mushaf.

14:3
ٱلَّذِينَيَسْتَحِبُّونَٱلْحَيَوٰةَٱلدُّنْيَاعَلَىٱلَْٔاخِرَةِوَيَصُدُّونَعَنسَبِيلِٱللَّهِوَيَبْغُونَهَاعِوَجًا ۚأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَفِىضَلَٰلٍۭبَعِيدٍ٣
alladhīna yastaḥibbūna l-ḥayata l-dun'yā ʿalā l-ākhirati wayaṣuddūna ʿan sabīli l-lahi wayabghūnahā ʿiwajan ulāika fī ḍalālin baʿīdin

The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allāh, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. Those are in extreme error.(3)
