لُقْمَان

وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ …

Quran 31:18 is ayah 18 of Surah Luqman (“Luqman”), a Meccan surah of 34 ayahs. It is in Juz 21, on page 412 of the Madani Mushaf.

31:18
وَلَاتُصَعِّرْخَدَّكَلِلنَّاسِوَلَاتَمْشِفِىٱلْأَرْضِمَرَحًا ۖإِنَّٱللَّهَلَايُحِبُّكُلَّمُخْتَالٍفَخُورٍ١٨
walā tuṣaʿʿir khaddaka lilnnāsi walā tamshi fī l-arḍi maraḥan inna l-laha lā yuḥibbu kulla mukh'tālin fakhūrin

And do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allāh does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.(18)
