Surah Luqman, Ayah 21 (31:21)

لُقْمَان

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ قَالُوا۟ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهِ …

Quran 31:21 is ayah 21 of Surah Luqman (“Luqman”), a Meccan surah of 34 ayahs. It is in Juz 21, on page 413 of the Madani Mushaf.

31:21
وَإِذَاقِيلَلَهُمُٱتَّبِعُوا۟مَآأَنزَلَٱللَّهُقَالُوا۟بَلْنَتَّبِعُمَاوَجَدْنَاعَلَيْهِءَابَآءَنَآ ۚأَوَلَوْكَانَٱلشَّيْطَٰنُيَدْعُوهُمْإِلَىٰعَذَابِٱلسَّعِيرِ٢١
wa-idhā qīla lahumu ittabiʿū mā anzala l-lahu qālū bal nattabiʿu mā wajadnā ʿalayhi ābāanā awalaw kāna l-shayṭānu yadʿūhum ilā ʿadhābi l-saʿīri

And when it is said to them, "Follow what Allāh has revealed," they say, "Rather, we will follow that upon which we found our fathers." Even if Satan was inviting them to the punishment of the Blaze?(21)
