Surah Saba, Ayah 23 (34:23)

سَبَأ

وَلَا تَنفَعُ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةُ عِندَهُۥٓ إِلَّا لِمَنْ أَذِنَ لَهُۥ ۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا فُزِّعَ عَن قُلُوبِهِمْ …

Quran 34:23 is ayah 23 of Surah Saba (“Sheba”), a Meccan surah of 54 ayahs. It is in Juz 22, on page 431 of the Madani Mushaf.

34:23
وَلَاتَنفَعُٱلشَّفَٰعَةُعِندَهُۥٓإِلَّالِمَنْأَذِنَلَهُۥ ۚحَتَّىٰٓإِذَافُزِّعَعَنقُلُوبِهِمْقَالُوا۟مَاذَاقَالَرَبُّكُمْ ۖقَالُوا۟ٱلْحَقَّ ۖوَهُوَٱلْعَلِىُّٱلْكَبِيرُ٢٣
walā tanfaʿu l-shafāʿatu ʿindahu illā liman adhina lahu ḥattā idhā fuzziʿa ʿan qulūbihim qālū mādhā qāla rabbukum qālū l-ḥaqa wahuwa l-ʿaliyu l-kabīru

And intercession does not benefit with Him except for one whom He permits. [And those wait] until, when terror is removed from their hearts, they will say [to one another], "What has your Lord said?" They will say, "The truth." And He is the Most High, the Grand.(23)

  21. ٱلْعَلِىُّl-ʿaliyu(is) the Most High
  22. ٱلْكَبِيرُl-kabīruthe Most Great
