Surah Saba, Ayah 54 (34:54)

سَبَأ

وَحِيلَ بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ مَا يَشْتَهُونَ كَمَا فُعِلَ بِأَشْيَاعِهِم مِّن قَبْلُ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ …

Quran 34:54 is ayah 54 of Surah Saba (“Sheba”), a Meccan surah of 54 ayahs. It is in Juz 22, on page 434 of the Madani Mushaf.

34:54
وَحِيلَبَيْنَهُمْوَبَيْنَمَايَشْتَهُونَكَمَافُعِلَبِأَشْيَاعِهِممِّنقَبْلُ ۚإِنَّهُمْكَانُوا۟فِىشَكٍّمُّرِيبٍۭ٥٤
waḥīla baynahum wabayna mā yashtahūna kamā fuʿila bi-ashyāʿihim min qablu innahum kānū fī shakkin murībin

And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting doubt [i.e., denial].(54)
