إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ خَصْمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعْضُنَا …

Quran 38:22 is ayah 22 of Surah Sad (“The Letter "Saad"”), a Meccan surah of 88 ayahs. It is in Juz 23, on page 454 of the Madani Mushaf.

إِذْدَخَلُوا۟عَلَىٰدَاوُۥدَفَفَزِعَمِنْهُمْ ۖقَالُوا۟لَاتَخَفْ ۖخَصْمَانِبَغَىٰبَعْضُنَاعَلَىٰبَعْضٍفَٱحْكُمبَيْنَنَابِٱلْحَقِّوَلَاتُشْطِطْوَٱهْدِنَآإِلَىٰسَوَآءِٱلصِّرَٰطِ٢٢
idh dakhalū ʿalā dāwūda fafaziʿa min'hum qālū lā takhaf khaṣmāni baghā baʿḍunā ʿalā baʿḍin fa-uḥ'kum baynanā bil-ḥaqi walā tush'ṭiṭ wa-ih'dinā ilā sawāi l-ṣirāṭi

When they entered upon David and he was alarmed by them? They said, "Fear not. [We are] two adversaries, one of whom has wronged the other, so judge between us with truth and do not exceed [it] and guide us to the sound path.(22)
